Neon Dust Rally
★★★★☆ 4.3
Neon Dust Rally understands that phone racing lives or dies on controls, and it nails them. You steer by holding either side of the screen, and the cars drift with a lovely weight to them. No fiddly tilt controls, no accidental steering when the bus jolts.
Tracks are set across neon-lit deserts and canyons, and there's a proper sense of speed. The progression gives you new cars and a few tuning options, but it never gets bogged down in mechanics — it just wants you racing. Ghost replays of your best runs are a nice motivator for chasing times.
It can get repetitive if you binge it, but in short bursts it's one of the most satisfying mobile racers I've played lately. The soundtrack alone makes every run feel like a chase scene.
